This reminds me, believe it or not, a hot shot Air Force pilot once flew a B-52 under the Big Mac that connects the UP with the LP in Michigan. Would have liked to have seen that!

"There were even unconfirmed reports that one of the plans flew underneath O'Neal Bridge."
Fly an airplane under a bridge........Ya mean that is illegal?

I flew some impromtu aerobatics over our county fair one time several years ago in a Decathlon. From what I understand, the crowd on the ground and in the grandstand really enjoyed it. People were waiting on the tractor pulls to start that evening. This was in the mid 1980's.

Well, here's a pic of one with a human companion, though it's likely not the sort of taildragger you had in mind....

The planes, described as a vintage military plane and a small red sport plane, treated the crowd to an impromptu air show July 4. The only problem was that airplanes were not an official part of the day's entertainment of music, food and fireworks.
Hmmmmm....

HA!! That's a tail wagger, not a tail dragger. I disagree. Just a nose; no nosewheel....

LOL! That one is a "belly dragger"
I have heard that some tail dragger pilots can fly low enough over water to let the main wheels just touch the surface and waterski along.
Kinda like a free airplane wash..........
