Actually, the Cheney-Republican connection is more or less an aside. This is the sort of feeling that Judicial Watch engenders on any thread.
Klayman has become a folk hero of sorts to those of us who have been following the attempts to audit JW's financial records. Among other things, we've been learning about the Fifth Amendment.

Come on, guys, I think that you are being a little bit hard on Rebeckie. Why not lighten up. Ok, ok. I guess deep down I really do feel quite sorry for her. Unless she is Klaymans wife in which case I hope she has crabs.
To: Howlin
Klayman will rue the day he messed with Dick Cheney. That comment kind of reminds me of when Carville said in front of the whole world that Ken Starr was going to lose his kneecaps for "going after" Bill Clinton. OF course, that turned out to be all bluster for show, as I was telling people back then.
But you could be right about Klayman paying for taking on Cheney. I have a feeling Klayman doesn't care, though.
To: backhoe
This really looks like "piling on" to me. Agreed 100%.
To: agrandis
Klayman doesn't care as long as he gets $$$$, you're right about that.
And if the only thing you can come up with is to compare me with Carville, I guess I made my point.
Dick Cheney is well known for being a honest man; and when he thinks his character may be called into question, I doubt he'll take it lightly.
Cheney IS a player; Klayman is mad because he's NOT.

I'm just curious, what prompted you to give money to Judicial Watch in the first place? Did they seem to have a good case? What?

Deport, Cats has noticed that Klayman has dropped the the non-profit educational foundation from his lead in.
I think you all are trying to make way to much out of his lead ins. That's only bait for the potential donors.... His status with the IRS regarding type organization doesn't have to be used in the lead in, I don't believe.
My guess is that none of these changes will have any impact upon the IRS audit as it's past years not future... so he still has to pony up for the past years he's used his donors and classification, IMO.

Is there any way to get in touch with JW and ask them the status of one of their suits, say, the suit against AFIP on behalf of the officers who blew the whistle on the investigation into Ron Brown's death? I would LOVE to ask them where that and other litigations are right now.

Keyes is gearing up for another run for President IMHO.
Maybe this time he'll pick Larry as his running mate?

Can you say you're a non-profit if you're not?

Well it only makes sense that now he'd sue Cheney personally, and attach Lynne and the "Bush brothers".
That way he can continue to claim that the audit is politically motivated.
