I remember many a summer outing with my family, expecting then my third child and not able to ramble up and down mountains..:))
I'd usually be parked in a meadow by a stream with a good book, reading some, and absorbing the beauty of the surroundings.
There was always an abundance of wildflowers, stretching as far as the eye could see!
My poor faithful little terrier, Shadow, wore himself out following the guys - and then hustling back to be sure I was all right.
