She did indeed recognize several squads. It was exciting for her. ((((((Linda))))))

Hi, Spookie! Do you think your sister will become a regular Freeper or lurker on the Canteen?

Probably not. She's "too busy" for such nonsense. ROFL Maybe...if I twist her arm. LOL She was impressed with what we do here. I have been telling her about it for months and every time I brought it up, she cut me off quickly, "I don't have time for that". But now that she's seen it.......who knows. LOL :)
To: SpookBrat
Keep on after her< She'll get "hooked"! LOL

Good Evening, Sassy! It's grest hearing from you again. Bet You and Kneezles can't wait to get back to Texas. But you'd better buy a boat! Did you read about that Freeper Texana_Red. Who lost her home and property to the floods near San Antonio? There is a thread you can go to to find out more and to find out how you can donate. It's called Freeper Flooded out or something simular. You might havr to ask Cob1 aboutit.

Hey there HJ! Good to see ya Bro!
Yeah, pretty rough terrain up that way for sure..in fact there was one that started behind Mt. Rushmore a week or so ago that they had to let burn out, it was totally inaccessable by the fire crews due to the terrain.
Things are looking up, by golly, IT MAY RAIN tonite!!! We're praying big time!
Dry lightening started another one last night near Sturgis, but I believe they got that one out.

Hey Spookie! I will be home tomorrow! I can't wait to get caught up with all that has gone on. I hope you and your family had a GREAT 4th of July! We are going to go home and see if our yard has flooded away! It is soooo ironic that here at my mom and dads it is a drought and they are on water rationing and at home there is too much water. You would think that with all of our technology we could figure out how to save flood water and transport it to the drought areas.
Any way, I will see you tomorrow! MAJOR BIG HUGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!!! :)
To: ClaraSuzanne
I'm kind of glad, but REALLY sad to be going home. I get really homesick for the mountains. I have been hearing about all of the flooding. I guess there has been a lot of rain at home, but no flooding yet. It is soooooo sad about Texana_Red's home. I would not be able to deal with that kind of thing. I will check out the thread. BIG HUGS to you, my friend. Have a great evening.
To: SassyMom
You too, Sassy! I'll keep you and all the Texas Freepers in my prayers.

'Tis the season, Bro...and I don't mean Christmas!!!
God willing, these fires won't kill anymore people, and next year they'll be a dim memory.
