As I understand it, the El Dorado forests are riddled with sick and dead trees from a blight of some kind. Got that from a friend who was in the now-dead Kalifornia logging industry.

BTW, your water sells for a much higher price in SoCal. Suck it up, people of NoCal.</sarcasm

I grew up in Placerville, back in good 'ol days when the local sawmills were running full steam, and the Southern Pacific railroad ran through town carrying lumber a'plenty. Now it's just the occasional logging-truck loaded with cedar. So sad, I loved El Dorado county, but it's not my home anymore. It's rapidly filling up with envirosexuals from the GayBay, and other perfumed elites.
