"To that extent I don't disagree with you. It just wouldn't have helped in THIS case."...Absolutly. Well, LIKELY, anyway.
If you read back through the posts, though...my answer was specifically directed toward the Third Way, New Democrat mayor of LA jumping in like the idiot he is with his "there are too many guns in LA" comments for the press.
My compliments to the el Al security staff - EXCELLENT GUN CONTROL...and am I safe in assuming that YOU understand the significance of the target as well?

FBI/LAPD/LAX/James Hahn news conference on now....
To: RonDog
His family said Aminov was dropping off friends at the airport when the attack happened. The family members said his wife, who is pregnant, fainted at the hospital and is now being treated there.Oh, no! This poor man--and his wife and unborn child. What a tragedy. My prayers reach out for them and all of the victims.

thanks, cake. i will! ;)

The
L.A. Times says:
"A middle-aged white man stepped up to the counter and started shooting..."
To: PJeffQ
Thanks...don't know if I have the COURAGE to listen though...

Please report!

Agreed. Trying to blame this on "too many guns" is ludicrous. Not that that will stop them from trying.
Some act as if the mere presence of guns is a magical talisman that prevents bad things from happening. The greatest gunman in the world is a dead man if surprised and shot from behind.
As Wild Bill learned.
Not sure I understand your question about the target.

This FBI guy is freaking clueless!!!!
Can't or won't ID the suspect!!!
Bullcrap!!!

Kinda reminds of the fictional anti-terrorist FBI guys from Die Hard.

The reporters are so incredibly stupid that it's painful to listen. Wonderful questions they ask, like "was the gunman killed with a gun?" It's just too much....

ROFLOL....you know as well as I do that if you just save the cartrages from a CO2 gun.....
Ready, set...time....run....
And you don't have to spill a drop. Thank you for reminding us.
THIS IS INDEPENDENCE DAY EVERYONE. I raise my can of Busch Light, and puff my cigar ceremoniously....in your general direction.
They can't win, as long as we are watching.

I don't think it's a matter of stupidity, they just want official soundbite quote confirmation from a source which looks better in their news releases.

FBI needs a motive before they will say its terrorism....
Hello FBI.......9/11 didn't have a motive you idiots!!!

Painful to listen to, nonetheless.
To: Dog
Don't have anyproblem in giving them time to check out his home and "friends'. It may save other lives. Wish they would just say," We know who he is and we are following other leads......"or something like that..... That would let us know they are doing their jobs.
To: MinuteGal
Show of hands how many of us .......don't think they have ID'ed the guy already?
