It is still being investigated. I haven't heard any news today so far. It is my understanding that there are still pockets of bad guys there against whom they still conduct operations.

US pilots blamed for fatal 'friendly fire' incident Two US fighter pilots have been referred to the air force for possible disciplinary action after an investigation found they caused a "friendly fire" bombing in Afghanistan that killed four Canadian soldiers and wounded eight others. Marine Lieutenant General Michael DeLong says the unprecedented joint US-Canadian investigation found the cause of the April 17 bombing "to be the failure of the two pilots to exercise appropriate flight discipline, which resulted in a violation of the rules of engagement and an inappropriate use of lethal force".
