Sounds like very conquistador-like behavior to me.

What kind of culture did the conquistadors destroy when they destroyed the Aztec culture? And they had help from other Indian tribes who were glad to see it end.

Indeed they had a great deal of help from other tribes. They were after all 400 with a few horses and cannon.

The conquistadores did not operate as agents in a vacuum.
