We will have to see what the Islamics do next in this country. That will determine our own actions to a large extent.

I meant exactly what I said.
Re-read the thread and see.

I never heard white people stand up to condemn the Oklahoma City bombing as white people, nor did I expect my neighbor to apologize to me, since I know he had nothing to do with it. Neither did he publicly denounce the dragging death in Texas, although I imagine he was as outraged as most people were. Similarly, the stoners and Deadheads never stood up to publicly condemn Charles Manson. Nor did all the firefighters issue a joint press conference to condemn the recent forest fires in Arizona started by a fire fighter. The Irish-Americans are not expected to stand up and condemn each bombing of the IRA, just as the Chinese-Americans are not expected to lash out at forced abortions in China. Here in America we try to get away from all that awful, unjust behavior. Then again, I have seen South Asian small businessmen fly the American flag on their storefronts, to honor the freedoms they cherish in their newfound land, where they try to get away from the old hatreds some seem intent on shoving in their faces.

...I posted some links about Muslim atrocities against women and children....Thanks, Don, but I've read a zillion of 'em. Matter of fact the whole of 'breaking news' seems to be full of them, some days.
Hey, talking about 'atrocities against women and children', how about the airstrike on the Afghani wedding? D'you think we'll see the same level of mock outrage about that, from our fellow Freepers?

NObody?? Okay, who in the West openly advocates taking women as slaves and raping them?
To: Don Myers
Oh, well, I think I will play a round of Medal of Honor - Allied Assault. I wonder if they will come out with similar games about the West fighting the East?

I'm seriously considering converting to this wonderful religion. Good for you. Islam is a religion of peace, after all.

Do you condemn those Muslims who sentenced that teenage girl to be raped for something her brother did? Yes or no?

All I saw was a party in the street and allot of high fives. I well remember the official condolences of all the Arab and Muslim nations, with the exception of Iraq and Afghanistan. I also remember the public mourning of crowds in Tehran, and in Beirut. The street parties we saw were mostly in Palestinian refugee camps, as I remember.

Well, the incident is still being investigated. Talk about jumping the gun... Anyway, you are equating an incident that, if occurred, was an accident to deliberate atrocities by Muslims. That is a little telling about your thought processes. BTW, I understand the Muslims in Australia are not too nice to Australian women. There have been quite a few cases of Muslim men raping Australian women. Oh, well, those things happen, right? They probably deserved it.

Man, there's another perk for being in the Military! Seriously though, could you fill me in as to how often the American GI has behaved in this fashion because in my 15 years service I've missed out on this one.

Are you kidding me?
After a week they would return them with monetary compensation.
"Dude, I am REALLY SORRY.. Here's a million bucks and if I never hear 'turn left.. back there!' again it will be too soon"

SUICIDE: Farzana, 20, wife of Amir Ali Mastoi, committed suicide by taking pesticides, in the Duabo village, the other day.
Some domestic problem was said to be behind the suicide.
[The tribal name is frequently incorporated into the surname.]

I never heard white people stand up to condemn the Oklahoma City bombing as white peopleI don't recall the bomber claiming that he did this as a white person and as the representative of all white people. Had he done so, I would have gladly stood up and announced that he didn't speak for me.
I agree with much of what you've said here, but you lose me with this post. Silence equals assent.
My wife is angered when pro-abortion women choose to present themselves as the spokesperson for all women. Why weren't Muslims outraged when bin Laden presented himself as their spokesman?

Well, now they'll have to kill her for being a "slut." ISLAM does NOT = peace.

You think this is and example of media activism? True, a camera's presence changes the reality of what is being filmed, but they were gleeful, and for that we rightly winced with angst when we saw that. Even so, rational conservatives do not condemn a whole people or religion for that, while DU provocateurs and militia nutcase yahoos might.
