Did you see this interview, lsee? The only one that I saw, was on FOX with Greta, but she (Greta) didn't ask some pertinent questions regarding the JEEP. Like someone previously stated, there certainly would have to be receipts from a hardware store, etc., to prove that he had to replace the keys. (Not that that would really prove or disprove anything.) That is assuming that he had 2nd key. Otherwise, he would have had to have the key made by a dealership, or a locksmith. It seems as though Angela is digging a deeper hole for here husband, IMO.

No, I didn't see the interview, but I have to say it will be very difficult, knowing the character and background of the Ricci family and friends, to take anything any of them says at face value, that is, as the truth. I feel for them, if indeed Ricci is innocent of this matter, yet this proves my training of my kids to develop a reputation for truthfulness. "Because SOMEDAY," I tell them, "It will be very important to be BELIEVED." Even if these people are telling the truth, their reputations will make it difficult for them to be believed, now, when it matters.

I saw Larry King interview Angela Ricci tonight and thought she came off as rather brittle. Sometimes she answered a question while staring right into Larry's face, barely blinking, and other times, she'd blink rapidly and repeatedly. Sometimes she'd be saying something and shaking her head negatively when her statement wasn't negative. She'd grimace and twitch, but her hands would be still. I was relieved when she put her hands in her lap, since her pose seemed so forced. I thought her posture was interesting, with her hands crossed demurely one over the other on the table in front of her. At one point, she fidgeted, caught herself, and swiftly put her hand back on top of the other hand, as if she'd been coached to keep her hands still. Remember how poorly Gary Condit did on television with his shifty movements? Someone coached Angela on how to behave. Her answers seemed canned and for the really difficult questions, she looked at the attorney (hers or Ricci's, I'm not sure). She insists Ricci is "an honest man" and "a good man". She insists that "we ALWAYS get up at 6:00"...

I thought they took pains to present Angela as "middle class, clean, nice-looking, trustworthy person" in sharp contrast to her father's image of "trashy" (not that he'd have come on Larry King without his shirt, but you never know). Angela did say Ricci has no hair on the back of his hands and didn't even know what a golf cap was when she mentioned it to him on the telephone. The attorney mentioned it would take 25-30 minutes, minimum, to get from the Ricci park to the Smart's neighborhood, then another 25-30 minutes minimum, to get back...He seemed confident the time line wouldn't allow him to do everything that needed to be done with an abducted person and still get back before his wife woke up.
