Darwin Award winner of the month. I don't know. There is some pretty stiff competition this month.
Don't forget the fireworks guys from yesterday who accidentally disposed of a lit M-80 by throwning it into a box full of M-80s. Also the two Chinese who just asphixiated themselves by leaving the car running in a closed garage in an attempt at an air-conditioned nooner.

Another donut shop story....
I was on TDY in Tampa back in '85 and there were 4 or 5 of us in a rental van. One of the guys wanted to stop by a donut shop on the way back to the hotel and pick up something for a quick late night snack. We had initially parked on the side of the building and after he went into the shop, we had a great idea for a practical joke. We pulled out with the lights off and positioned the van to make a "grand entrance/getaway". As he exited the shop, we sped toward him, slammed on the brakes, threw the side door open and grabbed him, threw him into the van and then sped off. We thought it was hilarious.....
An hour or so later, one of the guys used the van to go buy a pack of cigarettes and noticed a cop following him into the 711 parking lot. When he came out, there was a second car and they followed him back toward the hotel. As he approached a 4 way stop, 2 more cop cars screeched to stop in front of him to block his escape (with guns drawn) and a police helicopter hit the van with a spotlight. He tried to play dumb about the whole thing until they searched the van. As fate would have it, we had tie down rope and a roll of duct tape in the van that were used ealier in the day to secure some equipment."Uh oh...Houston....we have a problem"
Needless to say, somebody in the shop got the tag number of the van and called it in as a kidnapping. The van was a rental, registered to an Air Force Officer on TDY in the area. This meant the OSI was immediately involved, they in-turn were kind enough to notify our Commander to inform him of the situation.
The moral of this story.....don't screw around near a donut shop! ;o)

Then there was the guy from Moberly, Missouri who climbed out the window of his moving car earlier this week after telling his girlfriend to take the wheel. He lost his grip on the windshield wipers and fell under the car and was run over.

"..the two Chinese who just asphixiated themselves by leaving the car running in a closed garage.."It seems the Chinese are into asphyxiation....

Just going to post the same thing, all one needs to do is look at the opinion writers name.....
On a funny note "they took him to the Froadtert in Wauwatosa" just made me giggle a little ;-)

I'll bet your CO was overjoyed. That sounds a lot like the episode of Jackass where they kidnapped Brad Pitt in a van in front of a crowded movie theatre. When they left there was one guy frantically telling 911 that Brad Pitt had just been abducted.

I guess this clown wasn't the "sharpest knife in the drawer", was he?

Well, by getting his butt shot halfway off, he's learning that you don't get to be old by being a fool.

Police have yet to interview the victim because the shooting left him unconscious, Detective Sgt. Paul Schlecht said. Who is he calling the victim? I thought he was the suspect. Now he is a victim because the shop owner shot him? I hope he just mis-spoke..

Remember please, this is the same state that spawned Jeffrey Dahmer and Ed Gein (I know Dahmer was born in Ohio, but he did his deeds here). We seem to have a propensity for losers and weirdos here . . . . . (sigh).

Several prisoners escaped from Gander Hill prison in Delaware in '95. Two of them were captured when they walked into a Dunkin Donuts during the morning rush hour.
Crooks usually become prisoners in the first place by being dumb. ;-)

here in MD. the local left wing local govertment would want to hang the gun shop owner out to dry and find some reason why the perp was in their .In the end the shop owner would have to pay the perps hospital bill IN a city like Baltimore they can kill a police officer and a black jury lets him walk away free

Darwin award winner Though an idiot has been taken out of society, I'm afraid that at 57 he may have already contributed to the gene pool.
Darwin only counts when someone dies stupidly before they have a chance to reproduce. With this guy, we don't know.
