Indeed. I've come to call it "radical" atheism.

You're babbling. Children aren't being asked to stand daily and affirm the lack of a God out there in space.

These adornments politicians put on speeches and our pledge have little to do with holiness.

Like hell I'm "babbling". You, however, are attempting to strut around like some self-superior pseudo-intellectual. It's not working. My use of the word "radical" indicated their single-minded pursuit of an agenda. And you are mistaken to think that my ire is directed at the whole issue of whether or not "God" is stuck in the Pledge or not, but the reciting of the Pledge itself.

Yes, politicians put on airs of holiness when in reality it’s all a front. What does that have to do with this topic? This whole thing is simply another cut from the left against traditional, American values. Remember those? And while fundamental concepts like loyalty and gratitude, which the Pledge reinforces, are being culled from government school curriculums, they are being replaced such worthwhile subjects like how to put a condom on a banana. If you think that's somehow the earmark of a "superior society", you are wrong.
