The First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting the extablishment of a religion nor PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF..."

The courts have, for too long, prohibited the free exercise of religion by splitting hairs on the words "seperation of church and state" which are not found anywhere in the Constitution. That is merely a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson in reference to the establishment clause.

I am ready to see Congress grow some b###s and retake the power it has ceded to the activist court system. Maybe this will finally do it.

Would an Amendment to the Constitution recognizing the existence of an almighty Creator be possible? That doesn't "establish" a religion IMHO.
