In December 1994, Mohammed and Yousef went to Puerto Galera, a beach resort south of Manila, to take a scuba-diving course, Mohammed said. Scuba diving terrorists from the desert.
Theres one for the history books.

Hmm, doesn't sound like the architect of 9-11 was the devout Muslim fundamentalist type, does it? How can this be?

Just caught part of a CNN news bulletin which reported that al-Jazeera claims to be in possession of a tape featuring Khalid Sheikh Mohammed claiming responsibility for 9-11 and discussing how the plot was constructed. They will be airing the tape next week, supposedly.
This ties 9/11 right back to the '93 attempt to topple the WTC, to Ramzi Yousef, to Project Bojinka, to the Philipinnes connection and, potentially, to OKC.
