Here's the new thread, all ready for Thursday.

Testimony recently discussed includes fingerprint evidence, as well as Westerfield's clean laundry. The Van Dam home was (strangely) devoid of fingerprints, except for a couple of latents that didn't match any of the pizza party people or, apparently, David Westerfield.

Westerfield's motorhome didn't contain any of his fingerprints, but did have one print from Danielle L. (the daughter of Westerfield's ex-girlfriend), Jennifer (a friend of Danielle L.), and a partial from Danielle Van Dam.

The prosecution said yesterday that they would be finished "in seven court days".

WHY do they keep droning on and on about finding Danielle's hairs in DW's house? We already KNOW that she was in his house!!!!!

Ceiling fans, cold air returns and general HVAC operations could move the hairs from place to place.

Come on, Ducek, move on to something incriminating.

special procedures meetings w/Clarke and Dusek..to handle mass volume of evidence special procedures were put into place for this case....several meetings w/him, supervsr, DA's, asst. Da's,...phone meetings w/Clarke.

Is the Defense misleading the jury in presenting evidence of hair and stains that aren't directly related to DW's guilt? Smoke and mirrors?

trying to get answers on how many meetings regarding the changes in this case from others....were procedures changed..sustained....addressi ng why changes and why changes after this case.

cross contamination issues...if contaminated before it gets to him, you have no control...yes, as it is presented to me in sealed bags.....have to talk to scene collectors to find out how handled.

Do you mean prosecution? I would think that the NON human blood is presented because at the PH those stains had been brought up by defense implying the police had overlooked evidence. I think what happened was those stains were determined by then to be non human and that is why the detective who was given a summary of pertinant evidence was not aware of these non pertinant stains.

Feldman asking for polaroid photo's of DW's jacket to be removed from Detective's folder and distributed.

Sounds like some of the evidence, photo's haven't been shared...tsk, tsk.

I've been thinking that a lot. They keep referring to a large amount of evidence, etc. How much of it means anything?

I may have a stack of lottery tickets, but if none of them have the winning numbers, I have a stack of worthless paper.

As a juror, I would resent any attempt at games by the People. Just give me what matters and knock off the little innuendo garbage.
