Awesome post - AND beautiful picture of the Drum and Bugle Corps! Love the uniforms! Morning Billie. Yes, pretty snazzy uniforms - and, aside from their exceptional talent and discipline - great looking guys too. LOL! I was in high school when we were living in DC and was so taken with every one of them. I can tell you, for a love-struck high school girl, they were the stuff that dreams were made of. LOL! If any one of them had looked at me twice, I would have died right there on the spot. :-)

So do I.LOL! just don't tell Tom!

LOL! Yeah right.I'm a momma's boy because my mom has a Willie Nelson CD? I don't follow.

I am a fan of band music in general, but guess my heart is really the Drum Corps style of play (no woodwinds though I play the sax). Seems the later bands get a little modern for me, perfer the 80's sounding marching music. Sorta like the art now a days is just blobs of paint here and there, I perfert the more layered music of the 80 that tended to build ( can't spell carchendo?? to build in intensity).

Good Morning, Billie!
I just love this thread! Whenever I hear the military bands playing it gives me such a feeling of patriotism and makes my heart swell with pride. I feel such a stirring inside that I feel like i'm flying! Does this make sense to you?
