I don't want the military squandered along the border, and squandering is the appropriate term under the present conditions.
Gimme a Border Patrol Volunteer Reserve, where American men not serving in the military can be trained to assist the Border Patrol in some sort of supervised support capacity. We could serve two week shifts once or twice a year.

I don't want the military squandered along the border, and squandering is the appropriate term under the present conditions. With all due respect Sabertooth, I think the military, at least for the next few years, is in a much more productive role on our borders than doing exercises in their forts around the country or in babysitting missions throughout the world in places like Japan, Germany etc.
