I know exactly how you feel. Bash Lincoln for this, bash Lincoln for that, yadda, yadda, yadda. That's why I try and point out the racism and criminal actions of Jefferson Davis every chance I get. No need to thank me for it.

But, as I have pointed out to you, again and again and again, the point of these threads is the deconstuction of the apotheosis of Abraham Lincoln. Listing the faults and flaws of Jefferson Davis (and by the the way I think you probably grossly exagerate them) is totally, utterly, completely irrelevant. Given the purpose indicated above, Lincoln should be judged absolutely, not relatively. THE FAULTS OF JEFFERSON DAVIS ARE IRRELEVANT TO THE DISCUSSION.
