Feldman is an animated performer, gesturing wildly during his opening statement and questioning of witnesses.

He does indeed put on quite a show. His questioning of Barbara should be very interesting to watch. I didn't watch today's (Monday) testimony, but I will definitely be tuning in tomorrow.

Ok, I'm finishing up some work and checking on the threads; had a thought ...
Remembering (very) little hi school biology (+ help from Google):

"A female blowfly, once fertilized, will lay eggs throughout the rest of its 3 week life.
The life-cycle begins with laying the egg, which hatches in 2-24 hours
if warm enough, the off-spring may be viviparous (a live larvae birth).
In either case the larvae will feed on the flesh for 3-5 days until mature.
At which point they will burrow underground an inch or so to pupate.
Pupation takes 2-3 days, and the pupal stage lasts a further 8-10 days.
Flies are not sexually mature until several days after emergence."

The body was found on the 27th (infested with maggots).

If defense can show that the larvae in the body were first generation (i.e. no pupae in the near-by soil),
this means that Feb 27th - 6 days => body was not exposed until the 20th.

But DW was under police observation from at least Feb 5th until the body was found.

Comments ?

As I was arming my alarm last night, I thought about what it would take for someone to get in. A) You know there is no alarm and everyone is asleep -- you open door/window and walk in B) You know there is an alarm but it is never armed and everyone is asleep -- you open door/window and walk in C) You know there is an alarm and it might be armed and everyone is asleep -- you break window, or must override sensor to keep from sounding D) If someone might be awake (waiting up for others to arrive) you would not go in (unless you are armed). E) If you are unsure about status of alarm you would not go in unless you disabled it (any sign of that in this case). I don't see someone just opening a door to get into a house if they are unsure alarm is armed or people are up.... You must know they are asleep, know they don't arm the alarm or be prepared for trouble.
