Does our president go before the people and explain that we must curtail Middle Eastern immigration and call on all law enforcement agencies to bring in all illegals?

Do we call for a draft and then prosecute a true war on our enemies who daily threaten to ruin our lives?
No.
Does he blatanly stand up to the rest of the world and actually mean it when he mouths slogans like "You are either with us or you are with the terrorists." Does he explain to them that the leading nation on this planet will NEVER FORGET if our so called allies do not do EVERYTHING in their power to come to our aid or at least get the hell out of our way?
No.
Not only all this but he goes about passing most of the lefts wish list of legislation for them.
The conservative world needs to stop this BS Bush butt kissing and ROAR their outraged horror at the actions of this weak kneed poser George W. Bush .... or this nation is going down.
We shall be reduced to a second rate Europe in a few years. No longer the land of opportunity. Just another powerless member of the ineffectual West. Drowned in its own political correctness. Reduced to a shadow of it's former self.

Please, get a grip on the hyperbole. This article is just more Arab blustering, something they do quite readily and with great emotion. So what? I recall the Taliban leaders on Arab TV claiming that Afghanistan would be 'America's graveyard'. Five weeks later, the Taliban were hiding in caves and running for the border. Talk is easy but military might is deadly and we have the military might to destroy all of the tin-pot mid-east dictatorships, should we need to. We won't. A few selected countries will do the job as even Muslim fanatics recognize that all the bluster is meaningless whn the bombs are falling on your house.
America is the richest, freest and most militarily powerful nation on the face of the earth. Some Muslim fanatics with powerful weapons and a death wish are not going to defeat us, although they certainly can harm us.
We cannot deport every Arab or make every single structure bomb-proof and our very freedom gives the terrorists some advantage in their attack plans. That's understood and won't change.
Bush is not Clinton, try as some do to portray him that way when he doesn't start threatening to nuke anyone who threatens us. The president and the administration are very well aware of the threat to our nation, they are acting on those threats and Bush has warned (in his recent West Point speech) of U.S. premptive strikes against our enemies, and we know who they are.
Talk of the Muslims turning America into a third-world country is rubbish and just overheated anti-Bush hyperbole, as empty (and useless) as some of the terrorist threats. Criticism of the president is valid, 'giving up' on him is certainly your perogative and if you wish to play Chicken Little, be our guest, but don't expect serious attention when you make hysterical claims and accusations against the president and attempt to make the Muslim terrorists 10 feet tall. They are not, but America is and an American citizenry that is roused and angry - which another attack guarantees - will not be cowed, threatened or intimidated, much less defeated. Count on it.

Last September Bush spoke honestly about the threat; he said the war would take a long time, would be complicated, involving many fronts.
But some arab website states what many have feared, and "mercy" goes off the deepend in a fit of fear.
The American Revolution, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, the Cold War, Vietnam ALL LASTED YEARS. I'm sure a few months into each, many gave up hope, criticized the leaders and generals, and were consumed with fear, as "mercy" seems to be.
