The draft is a wonderful starting point for all the teenage dregs of society too busy shooting each other for tennis shoes and drugs.

The country HAS to address the moral decline of the gen Xers.

The draft has taken many "aimless" men and straightened them out to be useful productive men.

The draft is LONG over-due.

Great. Put those same folks into the military, with access to more destructive implements for their nihilism.

I find it stunning that the "moral decline" began with the Gen-Xers. The draft just did a whole LOT of good sorting out the Baby Boomers, didn't it?

That's not the military's mission.

You cannot draw the willingness to charge a machine-gun nest out of barrel, no matter how even-steven the process would be.

The draft is LONG over-due.

As long as you go first, oh mighty keyboard commando.

Maybe one out of 100,000 go that route.

BS. The majority of Gen Xrs are very moral, pretty smart and ready to kick some ass despite the crappy upbringing the pathetic can't-win-a-war babyboomers gave them. They will be the guys to get you out of this mess and It's high time you start treating them with respect instead of blaming them for your problems.
