The FBI director admits that his agents could do a better job of catching terrorists if they looked in the logical places, but they won't be allowed to look in the logical places because that might look like racial profiling. That could hurt somebody's feelings.

I don't want to read about any more of these debates. Fiddling while Rome burns. This racial angle is crap - smart, comprehensive profiling is needed immediately. Even though i personally doubt an airplanes are going to be used again. Religious profiling - if you give the benefit of doubt to islam that's it's primarily a religion and not a world dominating ideology and syndicate masquerading as one.

Right on, Wes! It needs saying. Maybe we all need to realize that many of the holier than thou Senators are as dangerous to us with their ultra-left wing pc and lack of common sense as the terrorist groups. And these Senators fingerpoint the blame at the FBI. Did the ACLU elect these turkeys or did we? If we elected them, then we need to unelect them.

comprehensive profiling is needed immediately.

You are oh so correct. It is not racial profiling however. It is criminal profiling. On September 11, 2001 nearly 3000 American (and other nationals) were murdered. And a profile of the murders should be created so that future murders of this sort can be prevented.

I think most of the people visiting this web site could probably make a pretty good profile of the perpetrators of this crime.

How’s this for my attempt; Male of Arabic descent, between the ages of 17 and 45, with Muslim fundamentalist beliefs.

I think we have to fear a lot from white and black converts, balkan muslims who look 'european' but may carry passports from croatia, slovenia, etc. but we have to start somewhere with 'smart' profiling that includes a lot of factors when applied ie. - source of income, travel patterns, new passports etc. It's all gotten hung up on this melanin content tangent. Not to say that the muddle east is not the main perpetrator.

Racial profiling is an excuse for inaction. The left grabbed this straw when they realized we were so conditioned to racial charges, that it was the best defense against inaction. The Constitution and civil rights do not apply to non-citizens of our country. They have to go back to their country and get their governments to apply the rights they possess in that particular country.

The FBI, he [Mueller] said, "is against, has been and will be against any form of profiling."

Obviously Clinton-holdover Mueller is a guy who can't make a distinction between criminal and racial profiling.

No wonder 23 TERROR THUGS HAVE SNUCK IN, FEDS ADMIT.

I think this war is going to kill political correctness. It better, or it will end up killing us.
