I always enjoy Fred's work. This time he gets flat-out serious on us.

This ties right in with the story posted yesterday that the New York Board of Regents examination has been censored for years. They have CHANGED the quotations from major writers, to avoid "offending" the exam takers.

From Isaac Singer, they removed references to "Jews" and "gentiles," which of course are central to his excellent life's work. From an hispanic author, they removed references to "gringos." From a black writer, they removed references to race.

All this was done without the knowledge or permission of the copyright holders. It was done, quietly and dishonestly, for political correctness. The "DC Bob" goes on everywhere, not just in the District of Corruption.

Fred's right on time and I look forward to his FOE's; especially old Hant.

Hasn't it always been this way in America; at least in our lifetimes. As a school teacher, you quickly realize how powerful the NEA really is. Just voice an opinion that does not follow the status quo; can be a career ending opportunity. Reality in most professions too.

Yay, Fred. I want Fred to replace George Will on ABC. Fred doesn't rant about baseball and he isn't a goody-two shoes.

BTTT Excellent article. As John Hagee said, "When the government fears the citizens, you have Democracy. When the citizens fear the government, you have tyranny." So it is with PC. Everyone knows its wrong, yet there seems to be no distinct place to address it. And yes, we should be very afraid.
