American football should be called banana ball. It is not a ball, because it is not round, and it is not foot, because they carry it by hand!

You have to be 300 lb gorilla to play this wrestling type game. You also don’t need a brain either to play American football because somebody else will do the thinking for you. As a matter of fact, your coach can stop the game to tell you how to play?

Real football, soccer for you infidels, is played by regular human being, who got brain to think for themselves. It is a form of art. If you played this game, you would understand why the whole world loves it. If you rather think that the whole world is stupid; then go back to your cave and watch the gorillas beat on each others!

I think that reveals a poor understanding of modern American football. Players have to constantly learn how to read defenses or offenses as a play is unfolding and memorize a large number of plays. It is true that coaching matters a lot in football, but that is because the game is so complex that a huge division of labor has developed among players and coaches. Often, for example, the quarterback is given a set of options to choose from and only selects on after surveying the defense.

I don't know much about it, but I would be surprised if soccer were more complex than football. (That says nothing of course about whether it is better or worse.)

Exactly why it's more fun to watch. You can second-guess the coach. A much more cerebral game for the spectator.

I played it quite well at 185 lbs. NFL D-backs are usually about 190lbs.

BTW - Football is probably the most complicated game out there. It's truly a thinking mans game. Reading offense, defense, implimenting plays. Knowing which way to step, backpeddle, weave, bump and run, etc.
