You don't honestly expect us to believe that among the HUNDREDS of democRATS that need to be questioned, many of whom will likely go to jail if this is pursued, some would not go public in an attempt to stop the investigation using "politics" and the media? NOTHING stops them or their lawyers from seeking favor with the media or friendly politicians. Sorry ... this defense of Bush is pretty transparent.
Furthermore, I don't expect that some of those who were wronged would remain quiet either. Again, there would be some indication that something was up.
