You know where I live, there is always something stinking up the road. This is large park with alot of wildlife and a road right next to the area where she was found. If someone smelled something they probably thought it was a deer rotting that was hit. I know everytime I smell something driving down my road I don't think.... hmm I wonder if that is a dead body I smell. I always assume it is a dead animal... and there are plenty of places around my home and on my road to dump a body. Actually my property backs up to a large Natural Wildlife Reserve that sits on the bluffs along the Mississippi River. We also have a very large prison here and all kinds criminals move to the area so they can be close to their inmate relatives that are in the prison here.

Then you have to wonder well they knew she may have went to the park and she was missing, so why not put two and two together when they smelled something? Most people think there is no way someone would dump a body that close to my house, or maybe they assumed that area was checked already during the search. Or sometimes the smell is not as strong as you think it would be, she was under a heavy wooded area and it probably stayed shaded all the time, plus she may have been 50 plus feet above the road below and it depends on how the wind blows while your passing by that area in your car.

True...but what would you think if you and everyone else knew the police were searching all over the vicinity for a dead body? Wouldn't the thought cross your mind "Whooof....dead animal...or what if that's the body they're looking for?"
