"No officer or official of the United Nations shall be granted special status or afforded special privilige by any employee of the county"
"We hereby declare that all United Nations initiatives concerning, controlling, and aserting dominion over citizens, resources and property in Grant County have no force of law and shall be ignored by all county employees in the completion of their official duties.".
If you substitued "Catholic Church" for "United Nations" I would still agree with these statements, and I would feel they were extremely supportive of the first ammendment, not unconstitional in any way.
Inquiring minds would like to know.

The UN measure is completely unconstitutional.
Take the anti-UN ordnance and line out every instance of "United Nations."
Replace it with the name of your church.
Would you hold the resulting ordinance to be constitutional?

This is a matter of national sovereignty.
It has nothing to do with treaties or religion.
A better test would be to replace every mention of "United Nations" with "France."
The United Nations is a foreign power.
The United Nations has no business making rules that govern the internal policies of our nation.
You are probably correct. However, to see citizens rise up and spit in the face of their government is encouraging. Almost leads one to believe that citizens could become even more audacious in their acts of insolence, toward a U.N. loving Socialist government.Would you agree?
