In the Balkans it is violence, anywhere else the Albanians would be terrorists.

The American government just loves to kiss extremist-albanian A$$ in the Balkans.....just too stoopid to know that albanian extremists bite the lips of those who kiss their behinds!!

SOP for most extremists...bin laden included....come to think of it...SOP of ALL muslim extremists.

"Fear of a wider conflict"?

You say that the war in Macedonia has already started this year - remember?

You're the man alright, just not for insightful commentary.

I did some scouting all prior posts on here, hoplite, you are some villian! Your lack of solid proof in backing your stories is nill. How come when someone does not concurr with your opinions, you try to skewer them over the coals?

Regards to your barbs to Spar, he/she shows and backs his/hers claims.

I have a bag full of prozac I can send you so you may calm your nerves. How long have you since retired from your job, bitter about something that happened to you? Maybe you have a self-image paranoia/schizo, that you need to lambast others.

I can have my buddies in 2 do a profile on you if you care.

In a rather ass-backwards double negative kind of way you've just outed yourself as one who needs help from the S2 section.

Who knows, maybe some adult guidance would do you good. Maybe they can teach you how to spellcheck so you don't look as idiotic as, say, SerbianFire.

Sorry, I am not that person you made up. No such animal as a Serbian Fire. I am 2d Generation Irish Catholic, Hoplite. Far from Serb... My parents brought the family to escape the British clampdown on the "anti-British" Irish in the Northern Counties. Speculation leads to paranioa when you are off base by few klicks.

Sorry again, am at Camp Schwab, Okinawa and did do some time with the unit with IFOR in early 96 and mid 99.

The Post took far to long to report this. They also leave out all the relations this group of terrorist have with al Qaeda.

He says they have been well received, but like all of the police teams in the region, they have yet to make any arrests or to begin investigating crimes.
Wonderful. It reminds me of a story on June 28th of last year, Pentagon: Evacuation of rebels doesn't signify change in Balkans policy Nice headline huh? If it's not a change, why are they worried?

As much as things change, its amazing how they stay the same: Macedonia Mess Shows NATO Folly

For those who need catching up and want to see some of the most graghic brutality by the Albanian terrorist, download the Whitebook.

Smokegenerator, you have to ignore A(lbanain)Brit. He has been rewriting history for months. Make your point, then move on because he won't quit.

Explain this, then, 'tard.

You're like an ugly piece of sculpture - you can throw as many coats of paint as you like, but you'll never be able to hide the underlying worthlessness.

smokegenerator, I think I got under Hoplite's skin. He kept asking me to prove there was instability due to violent operations by the Albanians along the routes leading into Kosovo. What must be bothering Hoplite even more is that I was on records months before this article.

Hoplite, I know and knowing is half the battle.

You know squat, and every post you make simply reinforces that interpretation.

Like I said, you're good for a chuckle now and then.

Macedonian Army Says Attacked by Albanian Gunmen

May 23

— SKOPJE (Reuters) - The Macedonian army said on Thursday ethnic Albanian gunmen attacked an army post by the Kosovo border, describing it as one of the most serious incidents directed at its forces since last year's conflict.

An army spokesman said "Albanian terrorists" using machineguns and hand-held rocket launchers fired late on Wednesday at an army watchtower in northwestern Macedonia near the border with U.N.-administered Kosovo.

The soldiers returned fire and after a one-hour gun battle the attackers fled toward nearby mountains, he told Reuters, adding that no one on the government side was hurt.

"This is absolutely the most serious incident in some time, because if they had hit the tower with the rockets we would have suffered great damage," the spokesman said.

The incident reflected the fragility of peace in Macedonia, nine months after ethnic Albanian guerrillas agreed to disband under a Western-brokered deal in return for measures to boost rights for their minority community.

The NATO mission could not immediately confirm the incident, saying none of its 700 peacekeeping troops in the country had been in the remote area at the time. "We are still gathering information on what happened," a NATO official said.
