With National ID, this type of thing will happen even at the grocery store.
Free country, my arse.

Funny, It occurs to me that its wonderful that our incompetent bumbling moronic F.B.I. is hassling so many of our so called citizens, I mean sooner or later they might catch someone ( more by accident than by design ) but at least they are trying. Also seeing how this woman is African- American shes torn between two continents ,shes leading a double life, I think shed be much happier in Africa!

But, but, but, freeeee, we're trying to protect the children from terrorists . . .

Thank God this happened under Bush and not Al Gore. LOL It wouldn't have been accepted under Al Gore. Now it's part of a grand master plan that nobody needs to be able to understand. It's cosmic in it's sheer brilliance and luminescence. This "Chess" not checkers...

Writers have pegged me that way. I got no desire to go live in Africa. I ain't never been. I was born in Indiana.
I would lay odds that the woman had never been to Africa either, and I doubt seriously that she was clammoring to go.

Clearly we should encourage the terrorists to begin using 'Diane Feinstein' and 'Charles Schumer' as their aliases. This could make for some amusing entertainment should they begin to use 'famous' people as their evil terrorist aliases. National ID would have this sort of stupidity happening at the grocery store and bank and gas station and and...

National ID would have this sort of stupidity happening at the grocery store and bank and gas station and and...Washington Federal has this great TV commercial where a guy walks into his bank and wants to have a transaction. Lady behind the counter says, "Do you have your account number?"
"Right here."
"Lean forward," she says. As the hapless victim leans forward, she staples a bar code to his head.
"Ow! What the -- ??"
"Speeds you through the line," she says, pointing. Behind the customer is a LOOOOONNNNGGGG line of people waiting in line, all with bar codes on their heads.
Finally in line, he asks the guy in front of him, "What's the hold up?"
Cut to the front of the line, the teller is trying to swipe another customer's head across one of those supermarket readers. The teller mutters, "I hate when these things don't read..."
Are you ready for that, national ID fans? Just think...your government at work!

And the FBI et al
our trustworthy Congressmen and women those we elect to serve us cannot for the life of them wonder why the majority of educated, intelligent and productive citizens dont trust the government in one form or another.
It is truly heartbreaking but the American people will only begin to scream and yell about government atrocities once its too late, too late to even revolt.
Anyone else think we are seeing the beginning of the end of what little freedoms we had left? I personally think, that Dubya and his band have the best intentions
my true fear is when the inevitable occurs.
And the mindless masses elect a DemonRAT, someone like Daschle, Hitlery or worse.
Some may deny it, but it is coming and it will happen. The only question that remains is how fast will the Patriots among us; the true American people realize that the threshold has been crossed and react
and what will the government do once they realize the movement to abolish them has started?
If it was to reach that level, which I doubt it would, most Americans are just too damn stupid, lazy and self absorbed to act. Most are only worried about who won the friggin pole or what the latest WWF goon is doing.
I sickens me to even think about it

That is the same way it works when you go to buy a gun if your name matchs some criminal then you must wait and wait and wait for the FBI to straighten things out.

If I were a terrorist I would adopt the name "John Smith" as a known alias. That ought to put about 50,000 people on the no-fly list. Then I would find the next 100 most common names and have my associates adopt those names. Pretty quick we have millions on the no-fly list.
I wouldn't have to even board an airliner to f__k up the entire air travel system.

Yep. There's another reason why I have no confidence in our so-called security agencies. They operate on a mental level pegged somewhere between Simian and human child eight years old.Ah, we didn't think it could happen...
Ah, we didn't realize two people could have the same name...
Ah, we didn't think at all...
One almost but not quite wonders who dresses these people. Brush your teeth now...

And they need to be reminded that IF the FBI and the airlines were following procedure before 9/11, it is likely that some of the hijackers would not have been flying. How many hundreds of lives lost can be attributed to the incompetency of the FBI (and the airlines) in operating this watch list system?
