Needless to say, I expected this. One way to reassure battered women is to teach them how to use the "equalizers". I, for one, would find that skill to be extremely reassuring.

The Daley administration swung into full damage control mode Wednesday as the Police Department continued its internal investigation aimed at determining why a South Side woman who made three calls to 911 to report that her husband was violating an order of protection was murdered before police arrived on the scene. Because the police cannot be relied on to save your life. If this woman had been armed, her husband would have been the one killed...

This would be an appropriate time to be bringing up the Chicago pistol ban and the need for a State-wide CCW....

If I were a family member, since the Supreme Court has determined that the police is not required to protect the citizens, I would sue the city for prohibiting her from owning a gun.

Thanks to Rat Gun Control Thugs in Chicago, another abused woman dies.
If she had one of the so called Saturday Night Specials and knew how to use it. She would be alive and the clymer would be getting bored with maggots.

Chicago pistol ban
I'm sure that if her husband used a gun in the murder it would be splashed all over the news that the gun killed someone.

sue the city for prohibiting her from owning a gun. Who is GOOD who would do it pro bono?
Class action?
Was the Justice Dept. statement a wink and a nod that now is the time to turn the tables?

"You wanna get Capone? Here's how you get him. He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way."

The article's actual title, which I mistakenly cut off, is "City Confronts 911 Delay". There is a link to the Sun Times, and the article, at the top of the post. How I was able to get that link on there is beyond me. I am trying to brush up on my techo skills.

Whats wrong with taking 17 minutes to get there anyway? Ever try driving in Chicago? Do people expect to be assigned their own personal cops, waiting by the front door?
To: Hobey Baker
Go for it!

Dial M-911 For Murder.
