Very interesting, Ronnie. Recently, I saw a History Channel program about the Montagnards, also other tribal people who fought along with the Green Berets. They were described as extremely loyal to the Green Berets and would not agree to fight alongside anyone else. Because of the language barrier, a type of sign language was developed among them. They are described as anti-Communist, and are now being persecuted.

Why Kerry would take such an attitude against these people (some remain there who did in fact fight alongside our troops), God only knows; but then, why God created Kerry is beyond me.

I recently reread Dr. Tom Dooley's historic book Deliver Us From Evil which tells of his time, immediately after the 1954 accords ended the French-Indochina war, running the refugee camp at Haiphong through which some 600,000 North Vietnamese passed trying to escape to the south. From the very beginning North Vietnam persecuted Catholics, and Dooley describes some of this in sickening detail - school children bound and mutilated by having chopsticks shoved into their ears so that they could no longer listen to religious teachings, priests hung upside-down and beaten almost to death with bamboo sticks, etc. Perhaps allowing this bill to pass is too threatening to the likes of Kerry because it might bring back to the public some reminder of how evil the Communist Vietnamese really were, and help point up just how bass and corrupt he and his fellow-traveler "anti-war" ilk really are......

Has anyone posting here actually read the text of this bill? Well golly, if we passed one of these against the People's Republic of China, we will do away with communism there. I never realized a piece of do nothing legislation could be so powerful.

You know, I hate this type of crap news/press release from either side. It's nothing but a worthless attack... And some people wonder why people are turned off by politics.
