I just saw the coverage on CNN headline news. They interviewed Angelwood and she did a great job. They put the camera in a place with only 5 people in the background. The reporter mentioned at least twice that it was a very small group and never showed the stage. At least they showed one of the pro-terrorist scum yelling at a cop and trying to get into the freeper rally.

Thanks! Typical slant, huh? That's what the reporters always did at end of our rallies; only mention was at the end when disbanding and "only three people and a dog were there for Bush." We finally learned to all leave en masse! Well, at least it was mentioned. I've been flipping channels all afternoon and now I missed what will probably be the only coverage; maybe they'll replay. Angelwood is such a great representative!

CNN asked me to give them an interview. I was pretty busy marking music for intros and getting things arranged so my daughter could practice a little to see if she could hear the music properly while she sang the National Anthem.

I suggested Kristinn for the interview since he was getting so good at speaking to cameras, but she wanted my viewpoint. So I stopped what I was doing. We had to move pretty far away from the stage because they were testing the system and the music was very loud -- the mike for the camera was picking up reverberations. The time was about ten minutes to 10 a.m. and there were no people gathered for the rally yet. The rally didn't begin until 11 a.m. and everyone who was on site was busy putting up tents, supplies, guarding the porta-potties, etc. If CNN mentioned sparse attendance at that time, they should also have stated that the rally was more than an hour from starting.
