From the article you have no way of knowing this was "a cowardly act." It is perfectly reasonable to believe that these people were returning fire before their compound was overrun. If they were armed -- as surely they were -- they were legitimate targets. In fact, as a result of the intelligence the Israelis gathered in the last two days from confiscated documents, they may well have been of the ilk who bit and stomped the CIA agent to death in Afghanistan. These people would do anything to kill a Jew/American. They don't obey the Geneva rules, so the only way to deal with them is on their own level. Otherwise, they will always win. Or is that what you want?
