I think the REAL Israeli objective here is the files, computers and records in and around Arafat's "personal" office. They'll take the information obtained, go to Brussels, and stuff it up the haughty noses of the European Union, IMHO.

GMTA. When I saw the IDF going in, I told my hubby that there's a treasure trove of intel inside. However, the *really* good stuff is contained in a small notebook in Yasser's pocket. When he was in a plane crash a few years back & was hauled away on a stretcher, he made his aides go back to the wreckage to get THAT notebook.
