A man deserves fair compense for an honest day's work. The slaves didn't get it. Had they, their descendents would have been much better off. The whites-only economy stole money and wealth--stole it--from the slaves; it's as simple as that. It's totally unjust that it not be returned.
Money can't really compensate for the massive injustice of slavery, nor am I under any illusions about the motives of some of the race-hustlers involved here, but reparations should have been granted decades ago.
