Sorry...no dice. Just because his constituents 'want' it doesn't mean he should vote for something that violates our Constitution, no matter how much you try to defend it by saying that it's only a little unconstitutional.

He swore an oath to uphold the Constitution. He violated that oath. Period. End of story.

I am truly sorry that you think you have the right to decide how much money I can spend supporting a candidate. To me that's not America. But that's another issue.

And it's funny you should mention fascism, because my mother-in-law sees a similarity between the current bloodlust against capitalism, freedom and liberty and pre-Hitler Germany. I got a Freepmail from someone who made a similar observation.

Free speech and free association are arguably the last bastions against Fascism.

But I respect your opinion.
