You obviously meant to say a pounding by a character.
I respect MDC more due to the little smear bout you started with him.
Did you take him up on that wager, BTW?
Wait! Eric has yet to ante up.
Ahem. Bush nominates [former Clinton nominee] Cercone to District Court. Evidently, Bush believes if he nominates a Democrat to the bench Daschle will respond in kind by confirming conservatives. Care to make a wager on whether Daschle will play ball?
Last chance to prove I'm a liar. Take the bet.
Unfortunately, these are my choices. In fact if Simmons were more conservative his election chances drop in CT. But given that these are my only choices which do i make knowing that if the RAT's gain control they polls will hasten the road to socialism instead of rising up and electing libertarians.
LOL game, set, match. All talk, no facts. DING DING DING. Go carry your wife's groceries. Your entertainment value here has expired HEE-RO.
My success is a direct result of my personal drive, ambition, and business sense. That's what the American culture nurtures. That's why I can laugh at someone like you, who spends his time and energy squandering opportunity bashing other people.
That's also why the Constitution is so important to me, because success stories abound in this country more than any other because of that document and the liberty and freedom it represents. I'm not trumpeting my wealth. I'm trumpeting my success.
He voted in favor of it. It's reason #2 why he's lost my support. Reason #1 was his turning against the Second Amendment by voting for more Gun Control, after having run as a Pro-Gun candidate.
Case closed. I'm at least consistent on my political views, and I refuse to support ANY candidate who willingly violates their oath of office (Protect & Defend the Constitution of the United States.)
That's far more than I can say about many people on this thread, who are so willing to give President Bush a pass for signing CFR citing "political expediency" or "defanging the Dem's" as their argument.
Either we elect & support people who stand on principle (as Bush said PRIOR to being elected) or we get the government we deserve.
President Bush presented himself as a man of principle & character. He sure as hell isn't showing it by signing this UNCONSTITUTIONAL bill, now is he?
NO, he isn't.
BTW: I don't know or frankly care where you got the idea that Peter Fitzgerald was some sort of "hero" to me, but your cheap shots are very telling about your inability to debate the issues.
Peter Fitzgerald is no more conservative in my mind, than Hillary Clinton.
Stick that in your pipe (or wherever) and smoke it.
