In a Feb. 26 New York Times commentary, Emory University visiting professor Michael Leo Owens argued that blacks increasingly support school vouchers despite opposition from black politicians.

A few days later, Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, on cue, stepped forward to demonstrate how intellectually bankrupt his opposition to school choice is. Jackson warns blacks not to be swayed by radio and television ads touting the success of vouchers.

I have noticed that blacks are going off the reservation more and more. Note the black support of Pickering. I hope this trend continues and Jessee ends up talkiing to an empty room.

Anything that empowers the black community, is dangerous to Jesse Jackson. So long as there's racial strife, there will always be people like Jesse Jackson, benefitting from the turmoil, and the hate he creates. If there were no Rainbow Push coalition, or NAACP, there wouldn't be racism. Without people telling you you're considered second class citizens, you never realize it. People tend to get along when they're not getting shafted or lied to.

Of course that's the whole purpose for people like Jesse, they are useful idiots. The more strife and chaos there is, the less likely that people will united to fight an oppressive government.

School choice is the civil rights battle of the 21st century. Here is a lady in my state on the front lines:

Welcome! Glad you came by . . .

Hi, I’m Tina Dupree, Director of FloridaChild! And those empty chairs at my kitchen table are for you! I’m here to help parents who want the best education they can get for their children.

FloridaChild wants more Florida families to have the opportunity to decide how their children will be educated, from their earliest years to when they are on their own. We believe it is the right thing to do for the children and families – and the wise thing to do for the Florida taxpayers.

Who will teach your children should be decided at your kitchen table. FloridaChild believes that – and we are going to help make it the reality for more Florida families. So pull up a chair at my kitchen table and make yourself comfortable.

Do you take sugar? Click here to start the conversation . . .

If poor black people would just pay Jesse more money, he would support vouchers.

Oh, wait, they're poor.
