Do you understand that AY will be ordered by the court to take her medication while in prison-- and she'll be watched to see she takes it? Do you even understand treatment for severe mental illness? only about 5-10% of those diagnosed with schizophrenia, will ever be well enough to stop taking medication. The more relapses, the greater the chance that further brain damage from NOT taking it will be permanent*. (Present medical theory) Get your facts straight.

I don't understand it. Can you provide a source for this? There was testimony that drug treatment in prison would be at her option.

The above statement does not contain facts.Further brain damage?Schizophrenia does not present as brain damage -no pathology(yet).bunch of pseudo-science.
