I'd be opposed to illegal immigration if they were Canadian busboys employed here. I'm opposed to illegal immigration on principle. This country has no obligation to house, feed, and provide for people who contribute to all the problems stemming from uncontrolled entry into the United States. I'm in favor of the fewer the better. We have to begin taking care of our own citizens and current permanent legal residents first.

And those people have no obligation to clean your toilets, pick your food, or work in searing heat putting roofs on your buildings, and then go out and buy food, clothes, and other consumer goods in stores in America, but they do it and they do it voluntarily in hope of finding a better life.

Good point - but you forgot something....they have no obligation, but they also have no right to do so, as they are in the country illegally. If they're so interested in finding that better life, why don't they take the steps to join in legally?

I am sick and tired of the "they clean your toilets" rant of yours. Pardon the pun but it doesn't float. I actually *gasp* clean my own toilets and *gasp* grow my own garden. I don't hire indentured servants at a pittance to do it for me. That's the American way!

I am opposed to rewarding illegal immigration no matter where the immigrants come from, no matter what the color of their skin is and no matter what language they speak. It is unfair to those who do follow our immigration laws AND it makes it easier for the likes of Tyson to exploit the illegals who do want to work when they aren't aware of minimum wage and labor laws.
