Aw, let's just forget the Red Cross and give our charity money to the Salvation Army. The Red Cross is a hopeless cause. I wish they'd take the Cross off their logo and name and admit they don't believe in it.
Suggestion for new name: The Reds

Please keep me bumped on this matter. This may be something the Orange County chapter to take up.
Thanks,

I wrote to FOX 11 LA and advised them of John Gibson's interview regarding the OC Red Cross story and his 3pm "My Word" section regarding the OC Red Cross. Maybe, they will link to the interview or write up an article.

I've been so upset about this since I first heard it on the 12:00 hr of the Fox Report. We have another thread going as well. Some have we've written letters and called. I tried to leave a message but the voice mailbox was full.
Here is the other thread in case anyone want's to see what others are writing.
Also, Mark Larson is subbing for Hugh Hewitt today and I caught the tail end of him talking about it, but I believe he said he was trying to get hold of the press release from the teacher involved. www.marklarson.com (maybe he'll post it on his site)

Maybe the Red Cross is getting a little too RED, for its britches.

Don't donate to the Red Cross. They tell you if you disagree with the national organization it is still okay to donate to the local chapters. Not so. The local chapters all send in a portion of their collections to national.
DO NOT donate to the Red Cross.

Correct me, if I'm wrong, but hasn't the IRC recognized the Moslem Red Crescent, but refusedd to recognize the Israeli Red Cross branch?

"I've been on hold with the Orange County Red Cross for 1/2 hour and they just disconnected me." Apparently they discovered you weren't calling to donate money.

They'll get my blood, but they'll never get my $.

Before the 9-11 RC fiasco, I don't recall hearing anything bad about the RC, or maybe I just wasn't paying attention. The main thing I knew about them was that they sent trainers to rural communities to teach first aid, CPR, and lifeguard classes -- all of which I participated in.
These are such worthwhile endeavors and should be to their credit. Unfortunately, their good deeds are now drastically over-shadowed by the revelation of their greed and their anti-American posturing.
They need to FReeped, big time!!!

I sent a pretty strong message, to their website. In it I identified as an OC resident, veteran, previous donor. I said apologise, or else I will never donate again.
That should be easy for even them to understand.

Copy
Print multiple stickers.
Apply liberally at appropriate locations (near whereever requests to "give more" are made)
Disapproval needs to be demonstrated or nothing will change.
Unnamed sources tell us that if you look up "insular" in the dictionary you will find "leadership of the American Red Cross"

Bump for reference when I call my local chapter. NO MORE VEHICLE DONATIONS TO RC.
