A friend of my brother works in the area. They were outside when the jet made it's run into the building. They saw it go overhead, lost it as it passed over the building in front of them, and heard the explosion a few moments later.

You mean they missed the part where the plane climbed sharply and flew to an undisclosed location to discharge the passengers and direct Barbara to her post in the shadow gov't, while people at the Pentagon detonated a bomb and then talked dozens of people into thinking they saw a plane hit the building? (Isn't that what some here are contending?)
