Not sure, but I think the last slot was just filled by a disruptor type. Yahoo id of "dizzymojo" (mojo is the name of an AFer), chose a team name of "Choose Death".

My husband signed up last night. He is a lurker here. (I hardly ever post myself. I prefer reading everyone else's posts. Everybody else says what I think anyway and says it much better than I) We both love reading on FR. He's at work now but can't wait to get started with the fantasy league. I think his team name is Bigtime Cubs. His name is Dave and he's a really nice guy. I hope y'all have a lot of fun with your league and good luck to you all. PS -- We hope it's OK to join the league if you are only a lurker on FR.

Thanks for the heads-up.
He will be booted.
Still one spot left for any "real" FReeper.

What a politically incorrect name.
Wunnerful.

OK, the FReeper League is now full for 2002. A big thank you to all those who helped to bump this thread the last few days.
Sorry if you weren't able to get in this year. Please send me a FReep mail or email (sssbobs@yahoo.com) to be included for FReeper Fantasy Football in Fall 2002 or for an invite to FReeper Baseball in 2003.

Earlier in the evening, I changed my team name from "Curse of the Bambino" to the "Fox All-Stars." In an effort to see which freepers signed up, I started looking at the Yahoo IDs listed by each team name, but then it occured to me that not everybody may have a Yahoo ID that's the same as their freeper ID. Anyhow, it leaves me all thoroughly confused. And this got me to thinking -- can we set up a scorecard, consisting of a post either here or at Yahoo, to list which team belongs to which freeper? I'd like to know whom to trash talk when I start moving up in the standings! ;)
One other thing -- is the "A" in your team name a tribute to Olympian Yang Yang (A), not to be confused with Olympian Yang Yang (S)?
To: Sideshow Bob
One other thing -- thanks for doing this! We're setting up a Yahoo league at work, and I know what a pain this can be!

Sounds like you just volunteered to set up a FReeper League/FReeper ID cheat sheet. You could post it here or there.
Oh, and the "A" is merely a letter designation that helps me distinguish each team among my other Yahoo baseball teams. For my ESPN teams I use numbers to make that distinction.

And there is again 1 spot remaining.
Hurry, sign up now!!

LTCJ & Son are in with the
Hurricane MudmenBTW, what is the message on the League site asking if the draft is going to be randomized all about? Randomized in what sense?

re: Randomized
The default setting for the league is that you would draft in the order in which you joined the league.
As much as I would like the 1st pick in the draft, it hardly seems fair to the person who joined last.
Yahoo's system allows each league commissioner to override the default setting by randomizing the draft order. I will make that change next weekend.
To: Sideshow Bob
Gotcha. Mighty Big of you, BTW.
'Course, that could screw up my highly tuned draft strategy (as if...)
