Sharon has taken out many baddies in the last 48 hours, including Hamas leaders, etc.

He also said Israelis will never give up or bend to the terrorists. I hope they hear that, loud and clear!!

PM: Buffer zones to be established between Israel and the territories

By Ha'aretz Service

In his address to the nation Thursday night, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon stated that he would do everything in order to bring about a cease-fire and an end to the violence. "In order to increase the security of our citizens, we have decided to establish buffer zones, so as to achieve security separation. The expanded cabinet decided several days ago to begin marking buffer zones and establishing obstacles along these zones. We all want peace and are obligated to peace. My goal is to reach a comprehensive peace with the Palestinians which will enable quiet and secure lives for us and for them," Sharon stated.

"Strident voices are being heard from certain sectors of the population, precisely during these times in which we must be calm, balanced, and restrained," Sharon stated. Sharon said that "we must maintain calm in issues regarding war and peace."

"We must not behave recklessly. There is a time for everything. It is not too late nor is it too early. Only in this way can we win the war, and only in this way can we reach a stable peace."

Sharon praised the nation and the security services while condemning the dissention organizations, which he said encourage the terrorist organizations. "But they are wrong. Israel is stronger that what they imagine," Sharon said.
