Where is this streaming from?
To: DJ88
Me too? I have to leave Salt Lake City? :) And the attitude is awful. I am so tired of the IOC and now the ISU being elite and above everyone else and not accountable.
To: DJ88
OK I checked out this dude and he is Italian but speaks english french and german as well as Italian.
On a side note, I didnt know they had the "clinton school of spin" over in Italy already.
To: Dog
I missed that.

OOOO--this part is good -- an implication by a reporter that this ISU guy was "upset" about the Italian Ice Dancers getting a 4th place in another competition -- he gives a total denial "I have never, never made this kind of comment" -- stil it is verrrry interesting

He seems to be begging the Canadians to file a protest. Why haven't they done so yet?

He just blew his stack!!
A male U.S. reporter just said a loud THANK YOU! like speaking to a retarded 8 year old when he asked whether is was a judge who gave the tesitmony for the inquiry.
To: NittanyLion
This guy may think he's pretty good, but the headlines are going to be savage. Can't wait to see 'em.
To: Azzurri
Perhaps the Canadians are hoping the ISU will do the right thing.
It looks like to me that the ISU is going to try to cast them as sore losers.

Straight Talk America. It has become hyper active in the past few weeks.

The Enron scandal is BORING...all accountants and lawyers. This is good, attention grabbing stuff. Hahaha!
Maybe we could have Ashcroft arrest some judges during the ice-dancing.
To: Rebelbase
There is going to be a TV movie of all this in a year or less.

Because maybe it sounded up until NOW that it wouldn't matter WHAT they did...that's the way I've been understanding it. I guess we'll have to watch..or maybe it's just another story he's making up.

On a side note, I didnt know they had the "clinton school of spin" over in Italy already. The ISU has likely already tendered job offers to their new PR directors, Begala and Carville.

He's dying to get his name on a bill, isn't he?

'Are you implying that I am not answering the question by giving a one word answer?'
To: codebreaker
I find this guy refreshing in a weird way. He's not like a bland American in the same predicament. He's letting his personality show - he gets angry, he tries humor, he is disdainful. Good entertainment value.
I'm already imagining the Saturday Night Live parody of this! Unfortunately there probably be no SNL this week - pre-empted by . . . the Olympics!
To: LenS
Thanks for the sweeps info. But I do think that when all of the news sources are giving such glowing reports about the high numbers for NBC's Olympic coverage, they should also mention that the other nets (excepting Fox) have basically decided not to fight them. It makes a big difference.
