Just watched the Repub. Gov. debate on C-span. I am not very familiar with Cal. politics but I did come away with the impression that Riordan is a classic RINO and has supported democrats very faithfully. I was not all that impressed with Simon. I thought his inexperiance showed. He seems pretty young as well. Jones, on the other hand, did what seemed to me to be the best job. He was poised and confident. This was a replay from tuesday I believe.

Yep, Bennett and Kemp dumped on California big-time when they proclaimed during that Prop (#?) battle that Californians should gleefully flop open their wallets and fund education, healthcare, and everything else for every illegal who could make it across the border. Extremely disappointing. What on earth were they thinking?
