While no one is forcing anyone to watch anything, broadcasters should not be allowed to broadcast their liberal propaganda when it assaults the sensitivities and sensibilities of religious.

So how would you accomplish this?

I hope you're joking. If not that comment makes me sick to the stomach. Why should what is and isn't broadcasted on TV be based on people's sensitivites?

I can swap your statement around to : While no one is forcing anyone to watch anything, broadcasters should not be allowed to broadcast conservative propaganda when it assaults the sensitivities and sensibilities of minorities/gun attack victims/enviromentalists,etc.

I guess that means you want them limited to airing shows like Little House on the Prairie and Touched by an Angel (and maybe not that one since it seems to suggest that Jews go to Heaven).

So instead of not watching a T.V. show and supporting it and useing your cable box or V chip you want to force the world to not offend your views. Considering that fox has shown that a conservative news channel can compete and win in a free market why not just watch pro-life only cable networks. That will get the media bosses to pander to your views quicker then stomping your foot on the ground and holding your breath will. Just look at MSNBC (the most liberal of the cable news networks) trying out the Alan Keys show and if it works then expect more of the same programming.

"broadcasters should not be allowed to broadcast their liberal propaganda when it assaults the sensitivities and sensibilities of religious."

And who would police the broadcasters? Much as I dislike liberals, and I've never watched SNL anyway, I believe it would be a violation of the First Amendment to interfere with broadcasting. It would be too much like book-burning.

At least you are consistent with your FReeper tag. Wrong, but consistent.

Do you feel the same way when SNL or any show for that matter, parodies Al Gore, Janet Reno, homosexuals, African Americans, etc....or is that funny because it's not about you or people that you support?

Just curious.

Why would the opinion of those who vow not to watch SNL because of their content, sway the producers of SNL to change their content?
OTH Even though I never watch, I know that Tele-Evangelist have assaulted my sensitivities and sensibilities with their religious propaganda should I be able to screen their content?
