I would add he knows nothing about science either and constantly fumbles around when he is discussing the environment. That kind of leaves him as a political pundit without much more going for him.

Yes, of course, that is another one of his ignorance outposts, which he fearlessly and resolutely defends. My gripe with OReilly is that he decides in advance of facts what the story is and will not examine them. It gets in the way of his performance. I'm with him in his ACLU/ Lamda fight, he has it right there, but on issues that concern scientific and economic knowledge, he can't get a real grip.
