This is just about as funny and silly as it gets. I'm not a genius; but ya know, if I go to the ice cream store knowing I hate chocolate I'm not about to stand at the counter and argue with a clerk about chocolate chips in the chocolate or the merits of french chocolate over rocky road n cream chocolate. Rather than wasting my time over something I have no intention of buying, I'm gonna be at the counter looking and salivating over the prospect of consuming either the strawberry or peach that I love.
No rocket science required! So, with all these educated folks here, litanizing all real or imagined faults of the dear Dr., I've come to the following conclusion:
They are "CLOSET KEYESTERS"! Yep. They have to be.....who else in their right mind would go on a thread that was about a RUMOR that Keyes was going to have a television show and run it up to 797 posts long....at one point, around #780, JimRob had to lock it out to prevent more flaming!!
How else can you explain the frantic rush to any thread that has Keyes name with flagging to others, and no doubt FReepmail as well.
How else to explain, other than actually being a CLOSET KEYESTER, a poster named "Southflanknorthpawsis" admitting to 'disliking' him and to being an admitted 'Keyes basher' coming on a thread announcing a new television program featuring Dr. Keyes, and bumping this announcement TEN (10) times!
Logic would tell you if this poster REALLY disliked him, the poster would want this thread buried so no one would know, so no one would watch, so he could fail, so the poster and friends could chortle and shout with glee at the demise of the 'bad ol' boogey man' Dr. Alan Keyes! It surely couldn't be the other choice of reasons why--which would be to make an ass of themselves....Republicans don't do those sorts of things... :)
I'd sure like to see one of our Keyesters come up with an award design so we could honor these CLOSET KEYESTERS when they show their love and devotion to Dr. Keyes.
BTW, just so no one feels I've picked out the poster 'Southflanknorthpawsis' to rail against.....sorry....not true.....this poster has won the Conservative Poster of the Day with her TEN (count 'em) posts, which beat out harpu at NINE. Maybe next time, harpu.
