This is the public education system model liberals designed and not just for Massachusetts. They want to turn out good liberal politically correct, multicultural and sexually ambidexterous adults and as far as they're concerned the children belong to them. Its the wave of the future and in public education the liberals are the Borg - "Resistance is futile you will be assimilated and parental objections are irrelevant."

Bwahahaha --- how many parents really know what goes on in the public schools during the day or have the time or inclination to actually check up on what their kids are taught? That's how the liberals get away with politically correct indoctrination disguised as the "ABC'S" when no one is looking. Either people will hold the public schools accountable or send their kids to private schools or begin homeschooling them. If parents are too lazy to care for their kids welfare they have no one but themselves to blame if they end up becoming liberals.

I am speechless too.
But I have to tell you: it is easy to be angry with the homosexual elite that perpetrates this. It is harder to see the problem in us ourselves and in our neighbors. It is the apathy, cynicism, and lack of the sense of responsibility that permits this all toh happen.
What I am trying to say is this: there were very, very few Nazis in Germany, and it is all too easy to blame on them what happened. The Nazis provided the hands of the henchman, but it was Germans at large who stood by and cheered. Or, at the very least, yawned.
We have been yawning since the 1960s. And we still are. Meanwhile, the Left, with its latest toy project, takes away our children from us.

This is madness. Which is worse? The fact that they are doing this or the fact that I am not surprised?

If this stuff is true - it goes way past the line of appropiate. If it weren't Insight, I'd claim it was made up completely. In any event, I'd like to see more documentation on this. It seems way too bizarre to be true.

I think there is an important lesson here:
People will tolerate the government doing something to thier child that they would shoot a stranger in the head for.
Moral: You think when they "come for your guns" or implement a national ID.... that patriotism is going to raise its lethal head and fight? No, there will just be a bunch of complaining JUST LIKE THIS.
If you let them do this to your children (or your childrens FRIENDS!), the rest is a given!
Baaaaaaaaa Baaaaaaaaa.

The real shocker? Newton parents by and large
want this. I used to live in Needham, the town next door, and I can tell you that Brian Camenker, the parent who almost single-handedly resisted the implementation of these programs in Newton
ten years ago is now and has always been treated as a pariah.
He and his coalition of parents is in the minority in Newton.
I went to one of the first public hearings regarding the establishment of in-school "gay clubs" and the hatred directed toward Brian was palpable. You couldn't imagine it unless you were there.
How any parent can send his child to these alleged schools is beyond me. The time to fight these radicals in Newton is over. It's time to save your own.

It's true all right. And there are
many other similar recorded incidents in Massachusetts.
And BTW, we can all thank Republican Bill "Pink Floyd" Weld for mandating this "curriculum."

The entire article is revolting!
I guess my daughter isn't socialized properly in their estimation. If that's what socialization is, then we'll remain in our 'cave' thank you very much. ugh.

With this kind of education going on...I sure hope the parents (the majority of them) are outraged enough to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT...and not just wring their hands and say 'oh my'.
To: jslade
Whats the complaint about? The people of Mass. just want their kids to grow up to be like the Honorable Barney Frank, taking care of the nation's business while exersizing the the capitalist spirit by running a gay prostitution ring out of his DC basement.

Sickening!

But that was back when children belonged to their parents. Unfortunately, that's an excuse. It's more important now than ever for parents to talk to their children - EVERY DAY - about what they do in school and what they are taught. Not being informed is an easy way to feel rage, but people need to take the time to find out for themselves.
Thankfully, my son is in a Christian school so it's a little easier for me, but he and I still sit down every evening and talk about his day. Even if a classroom is safe, kids can still learn things on the playground as well.
Just get involved.

Last night we recieved a letter explaining my sons fifth grade class in a MA. public school will begin a unit on puberty in connection with its health class. We were invited to a preview of the unit in early January and will be offered to remove our son should we feel the material is inapropriate for our child. After reading this article I can't wait.

I'm wondering where the pro-homosexuality crowd is on this one. Surely one of them is going to tell us it's all perfectly OK, and that we're homophobes for objecting?
To: Right Wing Professor
Surely. But I hope not :)
